Circuit Fest: An Annual Community Event Series
Circuit Fest is The Underground Rainbow Experiment's annual community event series, hosted each June across every URE chapter. Each chapter produces four interdisciplinary events in collaboration with local collectives and event producers, all inspired by the annual theme of the Devised Dispersion Theatre: A Collective New Works Incubator production.
How It Works
Through an annual open call held in January, URE selects local collectives and individual curators to produce original programming. Selected producers receive a $1,000 production stipend, organizational support from URE, and retain 80% of event profits, with 20% reinvested into Circuit Fest to support future programming. Each chapter will be responsible for hosting four events.
Why Circuit Fest?
Circuit Fest strengthens local creative ecosystems by providing paid opportunities for BTGNC artists and event producers while connecting communities through shared cultural experiences, collaborative storytelling, and community care.
