Independent Artist Production Services
Production & Career Support for BTGNC Creators
URE provides independent artist production services for Black Trans and Gender Nonconforming (BTGNC) creators across disciplines. We support interdisciplinary arts projects—from performances and exhibitions to music, film, workshops, installations, and other creative work—by helping artists develop the planning, fundraising, administrative, and professional infrastructure needed to bring their ideas to life.
This service supports URE's broader programming by creating an earned-income stream that helps sustain the infrastructure and resources we provide to our communities. Services are offered on a sliding scale, making support more accessible to independent artists while contributing to the sustainability of URE's programming.

Payment & Project Pricing
Production service fees are determined by the scope and demands of each project. We work with artists to develop a clear project fee based on the time, labor, expertise, and resources required, with payment plans available to make the cost more manageable for independent creators.
Payment structures are determined after the initial consultation. Our goal is to create a sustainable arrangement for both the artist and URE while ensuring artists can access the production support they need.
